125 Years HARMSEN UTESCHER

Enough tradition to shape the future

The law firm HARMSEN UTESCHER celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2020. And we are very proud of these 125 years, in which we have built up a remarkable expertise, a great deal of experience and a high standing in Germany and abroad.

The start of our story is documented by this trade registration certificate, issued on 9th March 1895. This was the beginning of a success story, but no-one could know this at that time.

What we now know today: by means of dedicated advice, professional competence and high demands on our own performance it is possible not only to build up a good reputation, but also to gain clients, who often remain loyal to us over tens of years.

Anybody, who knows us, is aware that it is not our nature to be content with what we have already achieved. Even if looking back gives us a sense of great satisfaction, we are continually developing new perspectives for the coming decades. Adapting our law firm to the future is a project on which we are working daily. Since, as it is well known, today is tomorrow’s yesterday.

We would like to thank our clients and our foreign colleagues for their trust. We look forward to many more years of excellent and close cooperation with you and also with new clients on matters relating to commercial law with an emphasis on intellectual property law, pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics law, antitrust and distribution law, unfair competition law as well as copyrights.
